Tesla to Build a Smart NEV Display and Experience Center in Hainan

Tesla has signed a contract with the Haikou Fuxing City Internet Information Industry Park to create its first smart new energy vehicle display and experience center in Hainan, where it will build an online and offline integration business model and a user-centered intelligent after-sales service system. Earlier, on September 22, Tesla Motors Sales Services (Haikou) Co., Ltd. was registered in Haikou Fuxing City Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park. Its business scope includes new energy vehicle sales, vehicle repair and maintenance, auto parts retail, centralized rapid charging station and electric vehicle charging infrastructure operation. “Hainan has accelerated the construction of a free trade zone and formulated a series of promotion policies around new energy vehicles, which strengthened Tesla's confidence in increasing investment in Hainan. Tesla hopes to use the preferential policies of the free trade zone and vigorously promote new energy, development opportunities of automobiles, increase investment in charging pile layout, automobile sales, automobile experience and services and deepen cooperation in charging and swapping technology lines,” said Xu Yao, the regional director of Tesla (Hainan).
