New Delhi, India's capital, has banned restaurants and stores from selling and storing poultry, processed chicken and related products in view of the outbreak of bird flu, the municipal authorities announced on the 13th. The Municipal Department of New Delhi said the decision was made out of public interest and relevant industries should seriously abide by the regulations. If illegal provision of poultry and egg dishes to customers, owners of relevant industries will face punishment.
