BYD announces further bus contracts with British and Italian cities
BYD announced that together with its UK partner Alexander Dennis (ADL), a bus manufacturer, they had delivered the 500th all-electric bus to the London Transport Authority. At the same time, BYD announced that its cumulative sales of electric buses in the UK had exceeded 1,000. In addition, BYD announced that it had won an order for 50 all-electric buses in Turin, Italy. The city highly values BYD's zero-emission technology.
