In Zhou Hongyi's view, the frequency of blackmail software is directly proportional to the development of digital economy. The higher the degree of digitization, the greater the possibility of being attacked by blackmail software. Zhou Hongyi stressed that in recent years, blackmail software has been evolving iteratively and is evolving to apt. Its development mainly presents six trends: first, organized crime is more efficient and forms a business model; Second, the target of attack has shifted from individuals to the government, key enterprises and key facilities; The third is to stop the infrastructure by destroying the data; Fourth, the attack tactics are directional and continuous. More and more directional attacks are made against high-value targets, and the attack techniques and tactics are targeted; Fifth, the technical means are more professional. Blackmail software is no longer an ordinary virus program. It begins to take advantage of 0day vulnerability or high-risk vulnerability, and the transmission channels are more diversified, even through the supply chain; Finally, it is difficult to track down attackers and deal with them by judicial means.
