At 11:03 today, China successfully launched the beijing-3 satellite into orbit with the long march-2-d carrier rocket at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The mission also launched three small satellites, including haisi-2, yangwang-1 and tianjian-1. Beijing-3 satellite is a commercial remote sensing satellite project invested by 21st century space technology application Co., Ltd. and researched by aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. It is mainly used to meet the satellite data demand in the fields of resource survey, ecological environment monitoring, urban fine management, disaster prevention and mitigation, and improve the data supply capacity of China's high-resolution remote sensing satellites.
