In order to ensure stable supply and price of bulk commodities, the national development and Reform Commission and the State Food and materials reserve bureau decided to put in State Reserve copper, aluminum and zinc in batches. Following the release of 20000 tons of national reserves of copper, 50000 tons of aluminum and 30000 tons of zinc on July 5, the second batch of national reserves of 30000 tons of copper, 90000 tons of aluminum and 50000 tons of zinc will be released in late July. Xu Gaopeng, director of the material reserve Department of the State Food and material reserve bureau, said that the state has sufficient material reserves and is confident and capable of stabilizing expectations to cool the market.
