The bank plans to issue its 2021 capital bonds (the first issue) on July 27, according to the announcement document released by the Export Import Bank of China on July 22. The bonds are planned to issue 60 billion yuan, with the duration consistent with the duration of the issuer's continuous operation, and the conditional redemption right and write down terms of the issuer are set. Exim Bank said that the funds raised from the bonds will be used to enrich the bank's other tier one capital, so as to enhance its operational strength, improve its ability to resist risks and support the sustainable and steady development of its business. It is understood that this bond is also the first perpetual bond issued by a policy bank.
