Stefan Qin, founder of Virgil capital, a crypto hedge fund, was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison for running a Ponzi scheme. It is reported that Stefan Qin has operated the encryption hedge fund virgin capital for three years. The U.S. prosecutor's office in the Southern District of New York claimed that the fund defrauded more than 100 investors, and Stefan Qin took almost all the encryption assets from the $90 million fund, stole the investors' money and used it for indulgence and speculative personal investment.
