On December 24, 2021, the first joint operation of over warehouse to warehouse automatic driving of retailers in China, jointly created by China Resources Vanguard, Zhijia technology and chefu.com, was successfully completed recently. The joint operation of automatic driving is jointly initiated by three enterprises. The freight heavy truck starts from huaruncang, Jiashan, Zhejiang and reaches Shenzhen after 1300 kilometers, connecting the Yangtze River Delta economic circle, the Pearl River Delta economic circle and the Great Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. This cooperation also created another record, becoming the first commercial operation of automatic driving completed by retailers, technology companies and logistics carriers in China. In this joint operation, FAW Jiefang mass production intelligent heavy truck equipped with Zhijia plusdrive system is adopted. In terms of software and hardware advantages, plusdrive is equipped with triple redundant forward sensing, integrating the most advanced monocular and binocular stereo cameras, lidar and millimeter wave radar; Among them, forward stereo vision adopts the maximum baseline configuration of mass production according to the current vehicle regulations in the industry to realize ultra long-distance accurate perception; Multiple cameras and millimeter wave radar are also equipped on the side and rear of the vehicle to form a 360 degree omni-directional perceptual coverage. All sensing data will be transmitted to the central domain controller to realize the perception and response to the scene at a frequency 10 times that of human drivers. For the first time, plusdrive has realized intelligent driving functions such as automatic lane change and micro obstacle avoidance in this lane on mass production heavy trucks. It can also improve fuel efficiency by more than 10%, significantly reduce carbon emissions, and provide industry value for green logistics construction.
