Tiktok said it was testing a paid subscription model that would allow creators to charge people for viewing their content, the Wall Street Journal reported. This strategy seems similar to instagram, which said earlier this week that it was trying its own subscription service. Tiktok did not provide further details on subscription planning, pricing or testing. The company has been thinking about new ways to bring value to its community and enrich the tiktok experience, a company spokesman said on Thursday.
