"A little bit of strength brings benefits together into a forest". HP 2022 sustainable forest project media conference was held in Beijing on April 22. Hewlett Packard joined hands with WWF to announce that the restoration of Asian elephant habitat in Yunnan, China will be included in its sustainable development action, and continue to promote cooperation with WWF in forest protection and FSC certification projects, as well as with China Green Carbon Sink foundation in the planting and breeding project of Pinus sylvestris. HP will continue to focus on "in China, for China" and focus on "sustainability, protection and change", further fulfill its commitments in sustainable forest plan and forest resource protection, and practice green and sustainable development. HP's China forest project is an important embodiment of its global climate action goal. In 2019, HP announced the sustainable forest plan for the first time and officially cooperated with WWF on forest ecological protection and management. In 2020, HP cooperated with WWF on FSC forest certification. This year, HP continued to promote the FSC forest certification project in China. As of 2021, 33467.48 hectares of forests have been certified. The project is expected to achieve the grand goal of helping 89000 hectares of Chinese forest land obtain FSC certification by 2025. HP always pays attention to its social responsibility as a corporate citizen. While living up to its commitments, it also guides the society to promote innovative and recyclable business models on a larger scale, so as to create greater benefits for the environment and society.
