Some coastal areas of KwaZulu Natal province in South Africa were hit by severe floods again on the 22nd, and some bridges, roads and houses were damaged. The South African meteorological agency has issued a level 10 warning against violent rain, floods and mudslides in some coastal areas of KwaZulu Natal province. Heavy rainfall of more than 50 mm to 100 mm is expected in some areas. This will have a serious impact on communities that have not yet recovered from the last flood and may even be life-threatening. KwaZulu Natal provincial government said that all emergency systems in the province had been activated after heavy rain caused floods in many parts of the province. This is the second time in more than a month that the province has been hit by severe floods.
