TuSimple, founded in December, 2016 and headquartered in Beijing, is an artificial intelligence enterprise that develops and applies L4 driverless truck technology. Established by Chen Mo, Hou Xiaodi, Hao Jianan and Huang Zehua, the company has received financings from Sina Weibo Fund, CDH Investment, Zhiping Capital and so on. Rivals that have direct and indirect competition with TuSimple globally include Flux Auto, Embark, Inceptio Technology, etc.
AI platform Haiper completes $13.8 million in seed round financing
On March 7, Haiper, an AI video-generation platform, raised US$13.8 million in a seed round of financing. This round of financing was led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from 5Y Capital. Prior to this, angel investors including Phil Blunsom and Nando de Freitas helped Haiper complete a $5.4 million pre-seed round of financing in April 2022.
