The president of Xiaomi submitted proposals in Two Sessions to promote the manufacturing and 5G industries
Mar 5, 2019, Lei Jun(雷军), the president of Xiaomi, submitted 3 proposals in Two Sessions. The proposals including “Suggestions about The Promotion of The Development of Iot by Distributing 5G Applications”, “Suggestions about Improving The Innovation Abilities and Commercial Aerospace Industries”, ”Suggestions about The Deepening of The Construction of Information Accessibility”.
According to Lei Jun, the competition of global manufacturing industries has pushed the factories being more intelligent. As a key technology that connects the human, machines and equipment, Iot has received attention from a lot of enterprises. In the first proposal, Lei Jun proposed that the 5G technology could meet the needs of industrial control and provide the remote control and management tools of data for manufacturing enterprises. Thus, the enterprises could manage a large number of devices efficiently and intelligently, and update the software of these devices via the Internet.
Lei Jun said that more finance and taxiation support should be given to key fields such as high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing and industrial Iot, in order to guide both of the central and local industrial investment fund, as well as the social capital. We should focus on the vertical transformation of the upstream and downstream of large manufacturing enterprises and strengthen the technology R&D and achievement transformation of the automatic production and unmanned factories, while creating a virtual industry closed-loop in order to improve the production effenciency and international competitiveness of industries.
