Chew Shou Zi, President of Xiaomi's (01810:HK) global business department, resigned from the office due to "personal reasons" and the decision was approved by the board of directors, two people familiar with the matter told EqualOcean.
Chew Shou Zi served as the CFO of the company from August 2015 to April 2020 and became the executive director of the company in October 2019.
Before joining the Group in July 2015, Chew Shou Zi was a partner at DST Investment Management Ltd. and worked there from August 2011 to June 2015. Prior to DST Investment Management Ltd., he worked at Goldman Sachs International from July 2006 to July 2008.
