Sun Art Retail (6808.HK): New retail empowers the company to take off again
Relying on the advantages of physical stores and supply chains, the scale of B-side business will reach 10 billion. In 2017, the company set up an independent online platform, RT-Mart, to develop B-side business. The company uses physical stores as "front-end warehouses" and uses the advantages of the supply chain to cover B-side customers around the stores. Until 2019H1, the single-store customer coverage has reached to 100 kilometers and the number of registered users has reached to 500,000, which increased 125% as of last year. With complementary advantages, and product matrix restructure with Alibaba, the company has more than 20,000 SKUs, which can meet the needs of customers' fresh and daily products. Meanwhile, the company introduced Suning Appliances, Taobao Xinxuan, Hema Daily, to provide customers with a rich product structure and higher quality products to make up for the lack of product matrix.
