On June 10, 2021, OmniSensing Photonics Technology announced that it raised over CNY 100 million in series A, which is led by Northern Light Venture Capital and China Fortune-Tech Capital and followed by R-Z Capital, Suzhou City Wujiang Venture Capital and DCP Advisors. The financing funds will be mainly used for the market promotion of industrial precision sensors and the research and development of vehicle-borne lidar products
Founded in 2018, Omnisensing Photonics Technology has introduced coherent technology in the field of optical communication to the fields of industrial precision sensing and vehicle-borne lidar. The company realizes the miniaturization of products through the self-developed integrated frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) optoelectronic chip technology, and the price is reduced to 1/5 of the competing products. Omnisensing Photonics FMCW car lidar adopts unique FMCW phase modulation technology and supports continuous ranging output. The designed target scans 30 million points per second, which is equivalent to 10 frames per second VGA resolution. At present, sensitive photon industrial sensors are used in the quality detection and equipment monitoring of various products, covering many using scenarios such as 3C, new energy batteries, precision machine tools, ultrasonic equipment, transportation operation and maintenance. We look forward to better development of the company in the future.
