Resnics (Chinese: 益思芯科技), China’s storage and network data processor chip solutions provider, has closed its over CNY 100 million (USD 15 million) Series A funding round.
The lead investors are JLSemi (Chinese: 景略半导体), Renchen Semiconductor (Chinese: 仁宸半导体) and MassAve Global (Chinese: 大道寰球资本), followed by Bull Capital (Chinese: 雄牛资本) and existing backers Grit Ventures (Chinese: 励石创投) and Oakseed Ventures (Chinese: 栎芽资本).
The proceeds will be used to accelerate the commercial application of DPU chips and smart network interface controllers (NIC).
Founded in 2020, the Shanghai-based company launched the first domestic P4 programmable cloud-native smart NIC with independent intellectual property rights.
Resnics’s competitors include Nebula Matrix (Chinese: 星云智联), Jaguar Micro (Chinese: 云豹智能), Socnoc (Chinese: 边缘智芯), and Nano Labs (Chinese: 豪微科技).
