Hi Robotics announced its Series D+ financing round worth hundreds of millions of USD on June 13, led by Capital Today. Shenzhen Hi Robotics (Chinese: 海柔创新) completed a Series D+ funding round worth hundreds of millions of USD on June 13, led by Capital Today, with participation by a top USD Fund. Existing shareholders Sequoia Capital, Source Code Capital, 5Y Capital, and 01 Venture Capital, tech news portal Lieyunwang.com reported.
So far, Hi Robotics has completed completed three rounds of financing, including Series B+, Series C, and Series D, within one year, which showed that the company's autonomous case-handling robotic(ACR) system has attracted much attention from the capital market.
Chen Yuqi, the founder and CEO of Hi Robotics, said that this round of financing will mainly be used on the R&D of warehouse robots and the global expansion of the company’s business.
The expansion and localization of overseas markets will be the general direction of Hi Robotics in the future. And large-scale replication of similar scenarios, exploration and expansion of different industries, and capabilities of global delivery will be the key directions of the company's development, Chen added.
Hi Robotics has implemented 200+ projects around the world, with cumulative robot shipments of over 2,000 units, and a market share of over 90% for ACR, far exceeding similar manufacturers.
Its HIPICK system has been widely used in warehousing automation in e-commerce, 3PL, shoes and clothing, 3C electronics, electric power, medicine, retailers, and other industries, serving clients such as SF Supply Chain China, DHL, Best Express, Philips, Shanghai Pharmaceutical Group, and other top companies.
The company’s competitors include Quicktron (Chinese: 快仓), BlueSword Intelligent Technology (688557. SH, Chinese: 蓝剑智能), Greatoo Intelligent (002031. SH, Chinese: 巨轮智能), Amazon Robotics, 6 River Systems.
