The Innovation of photovoltaic cells always centers around "efficiency and cost". Perovskite solar cells are considered by many in the industry as the most revolutionary new material in the field.

Today Renshine Solar (Chinese: 仁烁光能), a developer of perovskite solar cells, announced the completion of its series Pre-A worth hundreds of millions of CNY, led by Trinit Capital (Chinese: 三行资本), with participation from CASSTAR (Chinese: 中科创星), SND Ventures (Chinese: 苏高新创投), GP Hi-Tech Capital (Chinese: 金浦智能), K2VC (Chinese: 险峰长青), and YUNQI Partners (Chinese: 云启资本).
Up to now, the company has successfully established the R&D line of 10MW perovskite tandem solar cells. The proceeds are going to empower the landing of the mass production line of 150MW perovskite modules.
As revealed by China Photovoltaic Industry Association (CPIA), it is expected that the global annual installation of PV will on average reach 232-286GW between 2022 and 2025, and exceed 366GW in 2025.
According to Chengyong Shen, joint founder and CEO of Renshine Solar, the company has achieved five world records for tandem cells, namely 28.0%, 26.4% and 24.4% certified efficiency for small all-perovskite tandem cells, 24.2% certified efficiency for large tandem cells and 21.7% certified efficiency for stacked modules.
In the next five years, the company will build several GW-level production lines of perovskite cell modules, churning out modules with high efficiency, low cost and excellent performance, and deepen the application of its products in electric vehicles, BIPV, and consumer electronics.
Its competitors include Micro Quanta (Chinese: 纤纳光电), UtmoLight (Chinese: 极电光能), and Jinko Solar (Chinese: 晶科能源).
