The construction and planning of large-scale bases of wind power and photovoltaics are accelerating, and more projects will also start soon. Wind power and solar energy are the top priorities in clean energy in China's 14th Five-Year Plan. Besides, lowering the use costs and improving the capacity of power supply and other problems will be gradually cracked. In the future, clean energy will usher in greater development space to provide a strong guarantee for China's energy security, thus injecting impetus for economic growth and achieving goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base with rich solar energy resources is the main layout point of the first batch of large photovoltaic bases in Ningxia Province. It is accelerating the construction of a 200,000-kilowatt photovoltaic project. As an important part of the "West-East Power Transmission" northern channel and the first national comprehensive demonstration area for new energy, Ningxia is speeding up the construction of new energy bases at the Yellow River.

Large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases on deserts are speeding up construction, which is expected to provide 455 million kilowatts of power. The first batch of projects has already started construction, and the second batch of base projects has also been issued. At the same time, seven onshore new energy bases, two water and wind integration bases and five offshore wind power cluster bases identified by the 14th Five-Year Plan are also pressing ahead with the preparation of the implementation plan, according to the news portal jjckb.cn reported.

The promotion of various large-scale bases will bring a significant increment to the development of clean energy, especially new energy.
