Botree Cycling, a company providing full solutions for the recycling of critical battery materials, completed its A-round financing of tens of millions of CNY. The fund will be used in R&D of battery material regeneration technology and core equipments' development to meet European and North American standards.

Recently, Suzhou Botree Cycling Sci & Tech Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Botree Cycling) (Chinese: 博萃循环) completed its A-round financing of tens of millions of CNY. This investment was jointly led by Zhidao Investment Management (Chinese: 致道投资) and CAS Star (Chinese: 中科创星) and followed by Wuzhong Financial Holding (Chinese: 吴中金控) and MiraclePlus (Chinese: 奇绩创坛). The fund will be used in R&D of battery material regeneration technology and core equipments' development to meet European and North American standards.
Botree Cycling is a company devoted to providing full solutions for the recycling of critical battery materials. Through the innovation of separation systems and intelligent equipment, Botree Cycling enables recycling enterprises, electric vehicle enterprises, battery manufacturers and other entities responsible for recycling to realize short, closed and sustainable cycling of battery materials.
The company has a team consisting of experts from Chinese Academy of Sciences, KU Leuven, Waseda University, etc. With long-term research on battery materials preparation, metal separation and purification, extractant composition and carbon footprint assessment, Botree Cycling has completed the industrial and large-scale application for lithium-ion battery recycling from mechanical size reduction, hydrometallurgical recycling to material regeneration. Moreover, Botree Cycling has developed recycling processes for hydrogen fuel cells and solid-state batteries, as well as a novel short process for laterite nickel ore separation, and established a complete life cycle assessment (LCA) system for EV batteries complying with international standards.
By recycling battery materials and supporting circular design, Botree Cycling is working with the entire industry chain to build a truly sustainable and carbon-neutral future.
