On Nov 15th, Beijing NavInfo Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NavInfo) (Chinese: 四维图新) signed a letter of strategic cooperation with Huawei Cloud Computing Technologies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HUAWEI Cloud) (Chinese: 华为云) at Huawei Bantian base, annouced by NavInfo.
Both parties had the intention to conduct further cooperation in several industrial segments including cloud computing, IoT, smart city, witpark, smart community, intelligent transportation, smart supply chain and more.
Founded in 2002, Navinfo is a Beijing-based technology company devoted to providing professional services and high-quality intelligent automotive products for global clients. In the future era of smart mobility, NavInfo is dedicated to becoming a company with full user trust in this field, whilst empowering OEMs and partners along NavInfo's industrial chain.
The other party, HUAWEI Cloud, provides Everything as a Service (XaaS), striving to offer customers reliable, trustworthy and sustainable cloud computing services.
Both companies have been collaborating in the realms of HD map, cloud computing and so on ever since 2019. With the rise of the new energy industry, the market for autonomous driving based on navigation and big data has experienced a surge. As a result, the collaboration between the two parties has deepened.
As announced, NavInfo and HUAWEI Cloud will continuously strengthen their cooperation and research in the fields of transportation, automobile and geographical information retrival. Main collaborative focus points between the two parties will lie in IoT, smart city, intelligent transportation systems and intelligent automobile.
