Many Chinese companies went overseas to participate in CES 2023 this year. The integration of automobiles and technology has once again become the focus of the entire exhibition.
From consumer electronics to automotive technology, new energy vehicles, represented by electric vehicles, have become the highlight of CES step by step. This CES 2023 has more than doubled in size compared to 2022, with more than 2,400 exhibitors covering 166 countries and regions. The integration of automobiles and technology has once again become the focus of the entire exhibition.
Thanks to the improvement of the epidemic situation, many Chinese companies went overseas to participate in CES this year. Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, said that more than 500 Chinese companies had indicated they would attend CES.
Exhibitors such as Hisense (Chinese: 海信视像科技), electronics manufacturer, AutelRobotics (Chinese: 深圳道通智能航空技术), drone manufacturer, Davini Tech (Chinese: 达芬骑动力科技), electric motorcycle company and EcoFlow (Chinese: 正浩EcoFlow), power supply manufacturer, brought fresh technological innovations in different fields to the attendees. Also, companies from all segments of China's autonomous driving industry chain had outstanding performance in CES 2023.
As a high-end intelligent electric brand built by Geely (Chinese: 吉利), Zeekr (Chinese: 极氪) and WAYMO's customized model was officially unveiled, which is based on the world's first purely electric architecture developed specifically for driverless mobile mobility. According to the plan, Zeekr and Mobileye will launch the world's first L4-capable consumer-grade smart driving electric vehicle together in 2024.
WeRide (Chinese: 文远知行) , a Chinese L4 level autonomous driving technology company, released a new generation of autonomous driving sensor kit WeRide SS 5.1 in CES. WeRide SS 5.1 provides 360-degree and 200-meter straight-line distance perception, which is tailored for L3-level intelligent driving needs for mass production, and can easily realize different levels of automatic driving perception from L2 to L4 through different configuration combinations.
Automobiles are developing towards the direction of intelligent terminals. More and more automobile companies are trying to integrate more cross-border elements into cars. However, compared with some cool elements or novel products, consumers may be more concerned about the products that are finally put into mass production, which is also the direction that new energy auto manufacturers need to think about in the future.
