Corage, a company focusing on autonomous driving in commercial vehicles, announced that it received strategic investments from SCEA and other institutions. The investment will be used to further advance Corage's technology development and business expansion in the logistics sector for L4 new energy commercial vehicles.
On March 7th, Corage (Chinese: 卡睿智行) announced that it received strategic investments from Sumitomo Corporation Equity Asia Limited (hereinafter referred to as SCEA). Ventech China, Chentao Capital (Chinese: 辰韬资本), and PKSHA SPARX Algorithm Fund also participated in this investment.
It is believed that Sumitomo Group and Corage will actively explore and develop the application and cooperation of autonomous driving in Sumitomo's truck logistics network throughout China, Japan and even Asia Pacific, Europe, America and the world.The investment will be used to further advance Corage's technology development and business expansion in the logistics sector for L4 new energy commercial vehicles.
Corage is currently the only L4 autonomous driving company in the industry that focuses on freight lanes. The company focuses on the development and commercialization of autonomous driving for commercial vehicles, and has completed an angel funding round of tens of millions of RMB at the beginning of the year.
Under national policy's vigorous promotion of new energy vehicles, Corage proposed a slogan for Chinese commercial vehicle autonomous driving companies to "walk along with new energy" and focus on dedicated freight lines application.
