The company provides comprehensive digital solutions for 3D printing in dentistry and is building a large-scale distributed denture manufacturing cloud factory worldwide. Chamlion focuses on the digitization of the full process of dentistry, providing one-stop dental 3D printing digital solutions.
Chamlion has established over 260 cloud factories worldwide, utilizing more than 1,000 3D printer units which produce 8,000 partial frameworks and 80,000 metal crowns daily, serving over 1,000 dental labs and providing high-quality dental products for 30 million people worldwide.
According to Vantage Market Research, the global 3D dental printing market was worth USD 2.13 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach USD 7.22 billion by 2028. This growth is driven by the increasing importance of dental health and the continuous increase in the global elderly population.
Chamlion 's business is rapidly expanding, with subsidiaries established in Vietnam, the United States, France, Turkey, and other countries, and its business entering 27 countries. One of the company's investors, Li Jianwei (李剑威), a founding partner of Zhencheng Capital (真成投资), told EqualOcean that the company's monthly service revenue growth rate exceeded ten times in 2023.
In the 3D dental printing market, Chamlion faces stiff competition from various firms, including SHINING 3D (先临三维), Hanbon Technology (汉邦科技), BLT (铂力特), Farsoon (华曙高科), SoonSolid (迅实科技), UnionTech (联泰), and HeyGears (黑格科技) in China, as well as Stratasys in the United States, EnvisionTEC in Germany, DWS Systems SRL in Italy, Renishaw in the United Kingdom, and Prodways Group in France. These companies have established themselves as significant players in the burgeoning 3D dental printing field, each offering unique advantages and capabilities.
Chamlion's latest financing round was led by 3H Health Investment (三正健康投资), with follow-on investments from Vertex Ventures China (祥峰投资中国基金) and Zhencheng Capital. Taihe Capital (泰合资本) acted as the financial advisor. Including the CNY 140 million A+ round of financing in September 2021, Chamlion Technology's total financing amount exceeded CNY 400 million within two years.
