Recently, Shenzhen Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) was awarded the "Carbon Neutral Certificate" and "Green Low Carbon Enterprise Certificate" by Shenzhen Measurement and Quality Inspection Institute, which fully demonstrates its mission to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through its actions.
As a global leader in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ABB has always been committed to providing smart, reliable, net zero-emission electric vehicle charging solutions. Since entering the EV charging market in 2010, ABB has delivered more than 1 million charging piles in 85 countries and regions. In addition, ABB has also participated in the development of many mainstream charging standards around the world, promoting the effective coverage of high-power charging networks in key scenarios, and supporting the construction of a comprehensive low-carbon green transportation ecosystem.
The company also actively explores the implementation path of near-zero energy consumption and near-zero carbon emissions. Through the application of roof photovoltaic and building photovoltaic integration technology, ABB helps the construction of a set of energy tuning, energy consumption analysis, carbon emissions management, and power monitoring as one of the intelligent energy management systems, to achieve the full utilization of green energy and reduce carbon emissions.
It is reported that the project's estimated annual photovoltaic power generation is 314,800 kW/h of electricity, reducing carbon emissions by about 142 tons a year, with a comprehensive energy-saving rate of 75.08%. The new energy local consumption rate reaches more than 90%, and the cost of purchasing electricity is expected to save 50%.
