Daimon Robotics is an enterprise primarily engaged in research and experimental development. Focusing on the research and development and production of truly commercial multiple series of universal humanoid robot products, it is committed to providing comprehensive products and innovative solutions for scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing, logistics, and commercial services using cutting-edge computer vision, artificial intelligence, and intelligent control technology.
According to Daimon Robotics, it is about to launch a humanoid operating robot for different service scenarios to replace humans in completing refined operational tasks. Daimon has completed independent research and development in the perception control of the robot core through the accumulation of past algorithm technology and experience accumulation. In terms of perception, Daimon has achieved core technological breakthroughs in the design of biomimetic multi-dimensional tactile sensors and agile operation technology; In terms of control, the robot developed by it can maintain overall balance and coordinated control, and achieve hand foot coordination.
According to Precedence Research, the global humanoid robot market size was estimated at USD 1.62 billion in 2022 and it is expected to reach around USD 28.66 billion by 2032. This growth is driven by the increase in sales of the professional service robots and the continuous increase in investment and fund numbers in the technology field.
Besides Daimon Robotics, many companies are competing in the humanoid robot manufacturers include UBTECH Robotics (优必选科技), Softbank Robotics (软银机器人), Avatar Mind (南京阿凡达) in China, Boston Dynamics in the United States, Robo Garage in Japan, PAL Robotics in Spain and Shadow Robot in the United Kingdom.
Xigeng Deng, investment manager of Diamon Robotics stated: "We value the intellectual property barriers and world-class academic accumulation established by the company around the three core technologies of "sensory control drive", which helps the company maintain long-term technological advantages in the humanoid race and become a "fully humanoid" robot company that is not just "humanoid in appearance". We believe that only the best team can navigate cycles and track ups and downs.”
This round of financing for Daimon Robotics was exclusively invested by Kinzon Capital (昆仲资本). This round of funds will mainly be used for the market promotion and mass production of the first generation of humanoid handling robot, as well as the research and development of a series of products such as humanoid operations.
