On March 7, NETA Auto announced that the first batch of production equipment had officially entered the Indonesian factory on March 6.
This move brings NETA Auto closer to achieving the goal of localized production in Indonesia. According to previous plans, NETA Auto will be locally produced in a KD (partially assembled) manner, scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2024, and the first NETA car is expected to roll off the assembly line at the Indonesian factory on April 30, 2024.
As a car brand under Hozon(Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd.), NETA Auto adheres to the development concepts of electrification, intelligence and connectivity, and is committed to creating cost-effective smart electric vehicles to provide users with a simple, easy and comfortable smart travel experience. Last year, NETA Auto's annual sales exceeded 150,000 units, ranking first among China's new electric car companies. The Nezha L model will be launched in April this year, and deliveries will begin immediately.
On July 26, 2023, Nezha Automobile signed a memorandum of cooperation with its Indonesian partner PT Handal Indonesia Motor. The two parties will work together to achieve the localized production of Nezha Automobile products. In August of the same year, NETA Auto made its debut at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show(GIAS), displaying several models such as NETA S, NETA U-II and NETA V. In October of the same year, NETA V was launched in Indonesia as the first model on October 24, priced at 379 million Indonesian rupiah (approximately 170,000 yuan). In November of the same year, NETA Auto held a cooperation signing ceremony in Indonesia and completed the first batch of deliveries to Indonesian users. In February this year, a large number of NETA Auto's production equipment was shipped from Shanghai Yangshan Port Terminal to Jakarta, Indonesia.
NETA Auto actively responds to the "Belt and Road" initiative and the "Going Out" strategy, and is rapidly moving towards the global stage and becoming the leader of Chinese brands in overseas markets. Starting from Thailand in 2022, NETA Auto has taken a solid first step in global development. In just over a year, NETA Auto's market share in Thailand's pure electric market has reached close to 20%. In addition to Southeast Asia, NETA Auto has also gradually entered the Middle East, North Africa and South American markets. By 2024, NETA Auto plans to cover its global sales network in 50 countries and establish 500 overseas sales and service outlets to achieve its overseas sales target of 100,000 vehicles in the next year.
In order to meet the diverse needs of global consumers, NETA Auto has planned seven overseas products, covering sedans, SUVs and station wagons, covering mainstream market segments from A-class to E-class. At the same time, these products support left and right-hand drive models, can be sold in more than 60 overseas markets, and have intelligent interconnection and intelligent driving levels above L2+.
