EqualOcean reports that Shopee's Mexico site will introduce an innovative "Consolidated Payment" feature on July 3, 2024. This feature aims to enhance the shopping experience for buyers and boost order volume for sellers. Buyers will be able to consolidate orders from multiple stores into a single payment. If the total order value reaches the platform's free shipping threshold, buyers can enjoy free shipping. Additionally, buyers can use other platform coupons simultaneously, gaining double benefits.
To protect sellers' interests, shipping fees paid by buyers will go directly to the platform and won't affect the sellers' pricing. Shopee provides a detailed fee schedule and pricing tools accessible through the enterprise WeChat login. To promote this new feature, Shopee will launch related promotional resources. Products meeting specific discount requirements, especially those priced above 79 Mexican Pesos, will have the opportunity for additional platform exposure.
