As part of the framework of the 15th National Assembly’s 8th session, on the afternoon of November 26, 450 out of 453 delegates voted in favor of passing the Law on Notarization (Amendment). This law consists of 8 chapters and 76 articles and will come into effect on July 1, 2025.

The National Assembly passed the Law on Notarization (Amendment).
The Law on Notarization (Amendment) outlines provisions regarding notaries, notarization institutions, the notarization profession, notarization procedures, and the state's management of notarization.
After incorporating feedback from the government, the National Assembly Standing Committee proposed an amendment to Clause 1, Article 3 of the Law on Notarization (Amendment), which now reads:
"Notarized transactions pertain to critical transactions requiring a high degree of legal assurance and must be notarized in accordance with legal regulations or as mandated by the government-designated legal requirements."
This provision ensures the coherence of the legal framework, aligns the stringent management of notarized transactions with the goals of ensuring legal stability and flexibility, and addresses practical needs.
