According to the latest data released by China Bus Statistics Information Network (中国客车统计信息网), BYD (比亚迪) exported 4,234 new energy buses in 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.2% and a market share of 24%, securing the annual top position once again. BYD was the only company to export more than 4,200 new energy buses during the year and has ranked first for three consecutive years on the list.

On the technology front, BYD’s electric bus platform continues to evolve. The newly launched e-BUS Platform 3.0 made its global debut in Hangzhou, further pushing technological boundaries and reinforcing the industry perception that electric commercial vehicles outperform traditional fuel-powered models. As a multi-scenario technology platform, it will continue to incubate a broader range of electric bus products, supporting green urban mobility in more cities worldwide.

In terms of market expansion, BYD buses have achieved multiple overseas breakthroughs by meeting stringent regulatory standards, securing a series of large orders. In Europe, BYD electric buses have been delivered at scale in countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, and Norway. In Germany, BYD electric buses reached a 15% market share, ranking first among Chinese brands. In addition, the 5,000th pure electric bus delivered in the European market was successfully handed over in Denmark, marking a historic milestone.

In the Asia-Pacific market, BYD electric buses have also been delivered to Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and India. In Japan, cumulative electric bus orders exceeded 500 units, with a market share of over 50%, ranking first. In Singapore, more than 300 buses have been put into operation, securing a market share of over 60% and maintaining the industry’s leading position.

In the Americas, BYD electric buses are operating at scale in countries including Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. In Colombia, deliveries have exceeded 1,500 units, achieving a 97% market share and ranking first. In Brazil, more than 200 electric buses are operating across multiple cities, making BYD the leading imported brand in the country’s electric bus market by market share.

BYD Commercial Vehicles (比亚迪商用车) is accelerating the construction of a fully integrated overseas industrial chain. On the production side, expansion of the Hungary plant has been launched, with annual capacity set to exceed 1,000 units, further deepening localized manufacturing. On the service side, BYD has established its first OEM-led battery after-sales service center in the United Kingdom, strengthening technical support capabilities. Meanwhile, BYD has actively showcased its technologies and product portfolio at major global events, including UITP Germany, the Belgium Auto Show, and the Tokyo Motor Show.

Looking ahead, BYD Commercial Vehicles will continue to leverage its full industrial chain advantages and localized deployment, working with more partners to further promote the global development of green public transportation.
