Another fund is betting on the future of the healthcare industry.

Tencent Trusted Doctors and CR (China Resources) Capital Management announced to initiate a healthcare industry fund with an amount of CNY 1 billion. The fund will focus on the healthcare segment, pivoting China Resources Group and Tencent Trusted Doctors’ businesses, including primary care, specialty healthcare and new healthcare models.

Major fund cooperation partners include Chengdu Advanced Manufacturing Industry Investment, CDHT Investment, Chengdu Better City Capital Management. CR Capital Management will be the fund manager.

China’s healthcare market size is expected to reach CNY 8 trillion in 2020 and CNY 16 trillion in 2030.
