Ali Health's online pharmacy launched its Medication Safety Program for Chinese families, to provide 24/7 smart cloud-based health care services – a great move in the struggle against competing JD Family Doctor and Ping An Good Doctor's Family Doctor.

The Medication Safety Program for Chinese families was co-introduced by the Chinese Medical Association and Ali Health, under the China Health Education Center's instruction. The program includes the AI system for medication safety, family cloud-based medicine cabinet and a series of measures to guarantee users' medication safety.
Ali Health's AI system for medical safety is developed by Alibaba's security department and its DAMO Academy (The Academy for Discovery, Adventure, Momentum and Outlook). This AI technology has been applied in Ali Health's online pharmacy and has served over 100 million users.
The cloud-based medicine cabinet includes four core functions: medicine management, therapist service, household medicine repurchasing and professional guidance. This smart cabinet can remind users when to take pills, alert them when the medicine expires and provide other functions such as medicine tracking and online consulting.
This program's launch complies with Ali Health's recently upgraded app product, 'Yilu Doctor,' or Deer Doctor. The competition in the online healthcare services platform has become fiercer. Online pharmacy and online consulting have meanwhile become past tense. Customized and precision services are the new future as consumer demand has escalated after the pandemic.
