EqualOcean reports that JD Logistics and Chery Automobile have officially inaugurated their collaborative Middle East Regional Spare Parts Warehouse in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. Strategically positioned near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum Airport, the facility combines JD Logistics’ cutting-edge warehousing expertise with integrated supply chain capabilities to emerge as a leading automotive parts hub in the region. Housing over 10,000 components for Chery’s five brands—OMODA, JAECOO, EXEED, JETOUR, and Chery itself—the warehouse serves markets spanning the Middle East and North Africa.

JD Logistics delivers comprehensive supply chain management for the project, covering container logistics, customs clearance, quality assurance, inventory control, and order fulfillment. The warehouse features five specialized zones: inbound processing, outbound dispatch, high-density storage, mezzanine shelving, and bulk item storage. Advanced technologies like barcode scanning and automated inventory tracking enable precise part categorization and rapid circulation. Streamlined operations allow parts to be processed and shipped within 2-4 hours, dramatically improving turnaround times for end users.

A senior Chery Middle East representative commented, “JD Logistics’ operational excellence ensures timely, accurate parts distribution, empowering us to elevate customer service, expand our regional footprint, and solidify Chery’s long-term market position in the Middle East.”

The partnership advances JD Logistics’ “Global Supply Chain Network Strategy,” which aims to synchronize its worldwide warehouse, aviation, and last-mile delivery networks. Announced at its 2025 International Supply Chain Summit, the plan targets over 50 overseas warehouses across 19 countries, creating a 2-3 day delivery corridor for international clients. The company currently meets this standard in markets including the U.S., U.K., France, and UAE, with select areas enjoying same-day service.

By integrating port, air, and ground logistics in the Middle East, JD Logistics has established a robust multimodal network. The Dubai hub’s activation reinforces its strategic position as a linchpin in the region’s automotive supply ecosystem.
