According to the news on April 1, the chain supermarket Carrefour has announced that it will officially join TikTok Shop's France station. This move marks another important layout of Carrefour in the e-commerce field.
In terms of details, TikTok is expected to jointly build "ultra-local cloud shelves" with Carrefour, integrating the real-time inventory of 2,000 offline stores. It will also launch a "15-minute ultra-fast delivery" service, realizing a closed loop of live streaming orders and in-store pickups in Paris' core area.
Currently, TikTok Shop is collaborating with local European sellers to promote the diversification of product supply on the platform. French retail giant Carrefour, German online fashion retailer About You, and cosmetic brand Cosnova have all confirmed their entry into TikTok Shop, indicating the platform's further penetration into the European market.
On March 27, TikTok Shop announced that after going live in Spain at the end of last year, TikTok Shop will officially open its Germany, Italy, and France stations on March 31.
