BYD (比亚迪) officially entered the Egyptian market on February 4, 2026, in partnership with the Mansour Group, launching three models to local consumers: the BYD Dolphin Surf (海鸥), the BYD Sealion 6 EV (宋 PLUS EV), and the BYD Sealion 6 DM-i (宋 PLUS DM-i).

Li Yunfei, General Manager of BYD’s Branding and Public Relations Department, recently revealed that the company plans to sell 1.3 million vehicles in markets outside of China in 2026. This represents an increase of nearly 25% compared to the overseas delivery volume of over 1.04 million vehicles in 2025.
Public records show that BYD has already established factories in countries such as Thailand and Uzbekistan, with a Hungarian plant nearing production. Its overseas market presence now covers more than 110 countries.
