On April 29, JD Logistics (京东物流) and the high-end intelligent rugged SUV brand Rox Motor (极石汽车) officially announced a deep partnership. A regional automotive spare parts center, co-constructed and operated by both parties in Dubai, UAE, has officially commenced operations.

JD.com has made big progress in 3Q 2020.

The center covers over 1,000 square meters and manages more than 30,000 items across 2,000+ SKUs. Leveraging JD Logistics' (京东物流) mature integrated supply chain network, Rox Motor (极石汽车) has achieved next-day delivery at the fastest within the UAE and can cover over 10 core countries across the Middle East and North Africa—including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, and Morocco—within one week.

The core value of this collaboration lies in the qualitative transformation of after-sales efficiency. Previously, when Chinese automotive brands required repairs in the Middle East, cross-border parts transportation often took weeks or even months. With the spare parts warehouse now operational, the repair cycle for vehicles within the region is expected to be reduced by more than 7 times. Yan Feng (闫枫), Founder and CEO of Rox Motor (极石汽车), pointed out that the launch of the Middle East spare parts warehouse is a milestone in perfecting the brand's global service system. Currently, the Rox 01 (极石01) has begun deliveries in multiple Middle Eastern countries.
