Zhongfutong's (中富通) subsidiary Pingyuan Technology (平元科技) partnered with US-based North American Sunshine Trading to export its first batch of self-developed D31 intelligent delivery robots to North America, accelerating its global expansion into the last-mile delivery market amid high Western labor costs.

On May 19, Fujian Pingyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (福建平元科技有限公司), a subsidiary of the Zhongfutong (中富通) Group (300560.SZ), officially entered into a strategic partnership with the US-based North American Sunshine Trading. Marking the substantive implementation of this collaboration, the first batch of the independently developed "D31 Intelligent Delivery Robots" officially departed for the North American market on the same day. Under the agreed framework, Fujian Juhong International Trade Co., Ltd. (福建炬泓国际贸易有限公司), a subsidiary of North American Sunshine Trading (北美阳光), will take full responsibility for channel expansion, regulatory compliance, and localized after-sales operations for this robot series within North America. This signifies that besides its traditional communication network maintenance business, Zhongfutong's (中富通) "AI + Edge Computing" smart hardware sector, which has been nurtured for years, has officially commenced its global expansion.
As a core component of Zhongfutong's (中富通) layout in embodied intelligence and commercial robotics, the D31 robot exported by Pingyuan Technology (平元科技) adopts a differentiated strategy focusing on "high payload and multi-scenario adaptability." The model is equipped with advanced sensor-fusion SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) positioning and navigation technology combining laser and vision sensors. It features a maximum payload capacity of 100kg and a continuous operating time exceeding 8 hours on a single charge, enabling seamless transitions across complex indoor and outdoor terrains. At the signing ceremony, representatives from North American Sunshine Trading stated that they decided to introduce the robots into the US logistics and retail markets—which face acute shortages of affordable last-mile labor—precisely due to the disruptive advantages of Chinese smart hardware regarding supply chain maturity and cost-effectiveness. Following their initial deployment, the first batch of D31 robots will be prioritized for pilot programs in medical transport, bulk express delivery, and campus food delivery scenarios across the East Coast of the United States, aiming to secure a stable commercial market share amid high labor costs in Europe and America.
