Embodied intelligence enterprise Five Ages (中科第五纪) recently completed a Series A funding round worth hundreds of millions of RMB. This round was led by Fortera Capital (孚腾资本), with participation from Shanghai Semiconductor Equipment and Material Investment Fund (上海半导体产投), CAS Capital (国科资本), China Venture Capital (中国风险投资), and Hongruida Investment (鸿瑞达), while existing shareholder ZY Capital (卓源亚洲) and others continued to over-subscribe. Notably, this marks the third funding round completed by Five Ages (中科第五纪) within the year 2026.

Since its establishment in September 2024, Five Ages (中科第五纪) has intensively completed 7 funding rounds in just a year and a half, emerging as a highly active player in the primary market for embodied intelligence. Beyond persistent capital support, the company recently secured orders worth hundreds of millions of RMB from multiple leading overseas enterprises, driving the global delivery of its embodied AI robot solutions in industrial scenarios.

In March of this year, Five Ages (中科第五纪) showcased its embodied robot solutions at the German headquarters of a global manufacturing giant, becoming the first Chinese embodied intelligence company to conduct live machine demonstrations in Europe. Subsequently, the company showcased its self-developed wheeled robots and logistics solutions at the LogiMAT 2026 exhibition in Germany, highlighting live machine application capabilities powered by its proprietary FAM series large models. In April, at the Hannover Messe, the company's embodied intelligence product was displayed as the world's first to achieve full-link integration with industrial manufacturing software. Concurrently, the company completed its Phase I POC (Proof of Concept) for material handling and actual operations under real-world scenarios in a pilot project at a factory in Germany.

In the domestic market, Five Ages (中科第五纪) is equally accelerating its scenario deployments. In September 2025, relying on its "embodied brain," the company became the "No. 001 Brain Supplier" for a leading robotics enterprise, penetrating the power inspection and operation scenario and completing deliveries across multiple settings within just over a month. Furthermore, Five Ages (中科第五纪) continues to advance its self-developed proprietary robotic hardware. Its wheeled embodied robots have entered the new retail sector, launching unmanned retail projects with entities like Sinopec Group (中石化集团) to enhance retail service efficiency and customer experience via intelligent robots. In the automotive manufacturing field, the company has forged a partnership with Leapmotor (零跑汽车), with relevant robots already deployed and running at high speeds on production lines.

Overall, Five Ages (中科第五纪) is accelerating its penetration into diverse scenarios including industrial manufacturing, logistics, power inspection, new retail, and automotive production lines through a dual-track strategy of "embodied brains + self-developed hardware." The simultaneous advancement of capital, order backlogs, and overseas showcases demonstrates that Chinese embodied intelligence enterprises are progressively transitioning from the technology-verification stage toward commercial delivery and global expansion.
