Against this backdrop, the second Global Artificial Intelligence Forum For Sustainable Development Innovation Collaboration (GAIIF 2026) will be held in Paris, France, from November 24 to 25, 2026.
The forum is hosted by the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Cooperation for Sustainable Development and jointly organized by VS+ Accelerator, a China–France cross-border accelerator, and EqualOcean, in collaboration with strategic partners from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
Under the theme“From Innovation to Impact,”GAIIF 2026 will highlight its core principles of Innovation, Collaboration and Deliver Impact. Building on the achievements and cooperation mechanisms established at the inaugural forum, the event will continue to connect innovation resources across China, Europe and the wider world, promote international partnerships, and showcase exemplary models of global value creation and impact.
From Shared Vision to Institutional Frameworks: Inaugural Forum Explores New Paths for International Cooperation
In November 2025, the inaugural Global Artificial Intelligence Sustainable Development Innovation Collaboration Forum was successfully held in Paris. Guided by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC), the forum was jointly initiated by the CECC Artificial Intelligence Committee and the Zhejiang Institute for Industry–Finance Collaborative Innovation in the New Era, with HEC Paris, the HEC Paris Alumni Association and the HEC Paris Incubator serving as strategic partners.
The event brought together representatives and senior officials from United Nations agencies, the Society for the Encouragement of National Industry (SEIN), Choose Paris Region (CPR), École Polytechnique (l’X), Sorbonne University (SU), ISEP, Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP), IBM, Tencent Cloud, TotalEnergies, Stellantis, Thales, PwC, Breega, the e5t Foundation and The Bridge Tank, among other international organizations, universities, technology companies and investment institutions.
Representatives from more than 100 government bodies, research institutions, universities, technology companies, investment institutions and international organizations across China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and other European countries gathered in Paris. Participants held in-depth discussions on AI governance, industrial collaboration, green development and technology ethics, contributing new perspectives and innovative practices to the sustainable development of artificial intelligence worldwide.
The inaugural forum not only built broad consensus but also delivered a series of representative cooperation outcomes.
One of its key initiatives was the establishment of the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Cooperation for Sustainable Development. Focusing on responsible AI, green and low-carbon technologies, international standards cooperation, talent development and industrial collaboration, the Alliance aims to foster a more open, diverse and inclusive framework for international cooperation.
During the forum, the Artificial Intelligence Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce and the HEC Paris Incubator signed a memorandum of understanding on the joint development of the Paris-Hangzhou Global Innovation and Cooperation Center for Sustainable AI Development. The center will serve as a long-term platform for China–Europe collaboration in AI innovation, cross-border business partnerships, academic exchange and the commercialization of research outcomes, further strengthening ties between industry, academia and innovation ecosystems in China and Europe.
The forum also featured startup pitches and an innovation showroom, providing international startups with strong support in investor matchmaking and market expansion. Through the event, participating companies quickly connected with multiple channel partners across European markets.

While the inaugural forum focused primarily on exchanging ideas on the future of AI, building international consensus and establishing cooperation mechanisms, the second forum will place greater emphasis on how AI can create industrial value, social value and global impact.
The second forum has also upgraded its visual identity with a cleaner and more sophisticated logo design.
Centered on the theme“From Innovation to Impact,” the forum responds to the UN Pact for the Future and its initiatives on digital cooperation and AI governance. It will promote the development of responsible, safe, trustworthy and sustainable AI, accelerating the transition from technological innovation to industrial application and from shared vision to practical cooperation. The goal is to turn more innovations into measurable, scalable and sustainable impact.
The forum will feature in-depth discussions across five core areas: sustainable development, AI infrastructure, social governance, industrial upgrading, and healthcare. It will bring together representatives from technology companies, research institutions, industry organizations, investment firms, international organizations, and public-sector bodies worldwide to explore new ways for artificial intelligence to empower the real economy, advance green development, accelerate industrial upgrading, and strengthen global governance.
In addition to the main forum, GAIIF 2026 will host a series of complementary events at prestigious private clubs in Paris, including an invitation-only international cooperation and matchmaking dinner, the “Paris Night Talks” Leaders’ Dinner, international cross-border cooperation project roadshows, and thematic business visits.
Through project presentations, targeted business matchmaking, cross-border investment and financing exchanges, and innovation showcases, these activities will help companies gain deeper insights into AI industry policies, market demand, and priority application scenarios across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and West Africa. Strengthening the Cooperation Ecosystem and Building a Global Platform for AI Innovation Collaboration
As an important continuation of the cooperation outcomes achieved at the inaugural forum, this year’s event will introduce several major initiatives to strengthen international cooperation mechanisms. The forum will also officially launch the Global Artificial Intelligence Commercialization Value Report and present an in-depth analysis of the Climate Tech Focus White Paper. These publications will explore frontier topics including the commercial application of AI, global industry trends and AI-enabled climate technologies, providing internationally informed insights for businesses, investors and policymakers while further promoting cross-border knowledge sharing and industrial cooperation.
For the first time, the forum will host the GAIIA Global AI Sustainable Development Innovation Awards. Covering intelligent computing, industry-specific large models, AI agent applications, embodied intelligence, AI investment institutions and new energy innovators, the awards will recognize innovative practices that apply AI to industrial development, social governance, green transition and sustainable development.
