Xpeng Motors Sells 2,704 G3 in May

Xpeng Motors has sold 7,359 G3 in total in 2019, ranks first among China's new car manufacturers.

Xpeng Motors, one of the biggest Chinese new car manufacturers released a statement on June 12, 2019. Data shows that the sales volume of Xpeng G3 was 2,704 In May 2019, increasing by 22.9% month-on-month. From January to May, Xpeng Motors has sold 7,359 G3 in total, ranks first among China's new car manufacturers.

WM Motor, another new car manufacturer in China, published the delivery number of May on June 11, 2019. Data shows that the company delivered 2,056 units EX5 in May.

Xpeng Motors launched in 2014 by former UC Browser founder He Xiaopeng, along with Xia Heng and 2 of his friends. The company was funded by companies such as Alibaba, Foxconn and IDG Capital in 2018, which sees Alibaba's vice president Joseph Tsai entered the corporate board of Xpeng.

In terms of network construction, Xpeng Motors has opened experience centres in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Dongguan and other cities, and plans to open more than 100 offline stores in 2019.

In terms of after-sales service that users are concerned about, Xpeng Motors plans to set up and operate service centres in nearly 80 cities nationwide. Meanwhile, it will provide on-site fault treatment and partial parts replacement for users, covering the vehicle maintenance and fault treatment needs of remote users in its jurisdiction.

It also provides remote diagnosis services through the independently developed intelligent remote diagnosis system, including remote warning of vehicle faults, remote diagnosis and OTA upgrade of software, so as to improve service efficiency and experience.
