Huawei’s Global Industry Vision released '10 Trends for 2025 Report'

This report released on August 8 describes the 10 trends that are shaping the future.

It features trends such as augmented creativity, a life around robots, frictionless communication, super sight, zero search, tailored streets, symbiotic economy, 5G’s fast arrival, and global digital governance.

Augmented creativity

The assistance of AI and other technologies will greatly help develop an innovative society. The percentage of error will be minimized. AI is a tool that can power huge gains in creativity and Productivity for everyone.

GIV predicts that by 2025, 97% of large companies will be using AI.

Life with bots

By2025, elderly care homes in G8 nations will have an average of 10 nursing robots and that over 14% of households worldwide will have an intelligent domestic robot at home.
With the technology advancing by each day robots will be used in various industries, for example, butler bots, companion bots, nursing bots, bionic bots, etc. 

As robots, unlike human beings, are more precise, don’t get tired and are always available, they will be taking on more dangerous and delicate jobs in the future. 
According to GIV’s predictions, 2025 will have 103 robots working alongside every 10,000 employees in manufacturing.

Frictionless communication

Products will be more personalized, there will be no language barriers.

GIV predicts that by 2025, 100 billion connected devices will be in use and companies will utilize 86% of the data they generate.

Supersight

We will be able to perceive the world in a different way with the help of AI+VR+5G. GIV predicts that by 2025, 337 million people and 10% of companies will use VR/AR.

Zero search

Searching will get immensely convenient as you’ll be spending less time and energy on it.
GIV predicts that by 2025, 90% of people will use personal assistants on their smart devices.

Tailored streets

The intelligent transportation system will develop the infrastructure more effectively, shorten the response time for emergencies, and make it possible for zero-congested traffic and virtual emergency lanes.

Symbiotic economy

Cloud technology will play a vital role. A digital economy where resources and outcomes are shared is emerging. By 2025 all companies will be using cloud technology and 85% of business applications will be cloud-based.

5G’s fast arrival

According to the prediction made by GIV by 2025, 2.8 billion people worldwide will be using 5G, with 65 million 5G base stations giving the next generational network access to 58% of the world’s population.

Global digital governance 

It will be used to protect digital assists worldwide. By 2025, 180 zettabytes will be generated each year, a fivefold increase over today.
