Alibaba Groups’ healthcare arm, Ali Health, is rebranding itself, adding a 'Deer Doctor' character to the 'Zoo' of Alibaba icons that includes Tmall’s cat logo, Guoguo’s bird logo, FreshHema’s hippo, Fliggy’s pig and Ant Financial’s ant.

Today, Ali Health renamed its application name to ‘Medical Deer’ (‘Yi Lu’ in Chinese) with an implied meaning of ‘being well.’
Ali Health (00241) is the healthcare platform of Alibaba Group and primarily provides four types of service: online pharmacy, smart medical services, medicine tracking and consumable healthcare. The new logo is not only a profile change but also indicates a product shift and a business upgrade.
This new product strategy move implies that Ali Health plans to enhance its doctor team, enrich doctor-centered services and increase operation capabilities. The product is expected to establish an innovative Internet healthcare platform pivoting consumers and patients.
Earlier this month, JD Health also launched its new product, JD Family Doctor, to provide comprehensive and exclusive high-quality medical care, following Ping An Good Doctor's example.
