German automobile giant accelerated its expansion in China as it announced the debut of seven new vehicles at the 2020 Beijing Auto show.
Audi will hold the world premiere of the all-new Audi Q5L Sportback and Audi Q4 e-Tron concept car and debutants (domestic version) Audi e-Tron, Audi e-Tron Sportback, Audi RS Q8, the new Audi R8 Coupé and the new Audi RS 5 Sportback.

The Audi Q4 e-Tron concept car will be mass-produced and sold overseas in 2021. Besides, the domestically produced version of the Audi e-Tron and Audi e-Tron Sportback will also make its debut in China soon. The firm officially stated that, by 2025, the brand would launch more than 20 pure electric models, and electric vehicles' sales will also account for 40% of all.
As the largest single market, the automakers' emphasis on the Chinese market is evident. At the beginning of this year, Audi officially announced that it plans to launch more than 20 new products in the Chinese market this year, including 13 Sport models.
For the german auto veteran, more new cars launched in the Chinese market will become a force to compete with Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
In the first eight months of this year, Audi led the Chinese luxury car market with a slight advantage. According to the sales data released by the China Passenger Car Association, the cumulative sales from January to August were 402,447, the cumulative sales of Mercedes-Benz were 400,691, and the cumulative sales of BMW were 393,724.
