The mass-produced LYNK & Co Zero concept car equipped with Mobileye SuperVision driving assistance technology may provide consumers with a new and groundbreaking model choice.
On September 24, Geely debuted the ZERO Concept, the first pure-electric luxury concept car under the LYNK & Co brand. The product will be equipped with the new autonomous driving assistance system CoPilot, supported by the Mobileye SuperVision system to provide
surround-visual driving assistance technology and has the function of an OTA update. The industry has fully verified the Mobileye SuperVision system based on the EyeQ5H high-computing AI chip. As a result, Geely will use this technology to cooperate with Mobileye to start delivering products with advanced driving assistance functions to users in the fall of 2021.
Supervision is the first system that can be extended from the ADAS system (Advanced Driving Assistance System) to AV (autonomous driving). It uses a surround-view camera and other navigation technologies for the first time. Also, such technologies are supported by Mobileye's most advanced system-on-chip-EyeQ5. CoPilot implements advanced safety technology and can assist human drivers in a variety of different driving scenarios.
In addition to realizing high-end driver assistance functions in the LYNK & Co Zero concept car that can be mass-produced within a few years, Geely has also reached a large-scale ADAS cooperation agreement with Mobileye to equip various Geely brands and models with Mobileye's vision sensing technology. According to this long-term cooperation agreement, many Geely brands will be equipped with ADAS functions, such as AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking) and LKA (LaneKeep Assist).
