The European Chapter:

For the European Chapter, there was a great line-up of speakers who discussed a wide range of tech-related topics, from Artificial Intelligence, to Fintech to Gaming, and many more. In addition, the European Chapter features speakers from all over Europe – from Germany, we had Mr Niklas Ostberg, the founder and CEO of Delivery Hero, the biggest delivery company outside of China. He shared with us the delivery trends we can expect in next year in 2021. From the UK, we had Mr Russ Shaw, the Founder of Tech London Advocate and Global Tech Advocate, he shared with us the secret tips and strategies on how smaller start-ups can accelerate their growth. We also had speakers from Portugal and France, to be further discussed at the latter parts of this article.

Speaker’s Highlight:

We kickstart the European Chapter with a panel discussion with our guest speakers from Portugal – Mr Ruca Sousa, the CEO and co-founder of Switch Payments, Mr Alejandro, the Head of Fintech Solutions at Rails Bank, and Mr Simao Cruz, the co-founder of Portugal Fintech, who moderated the Panel Discussion. They discussed in-depth on Fintech-related topics, and how every company is transforming into a Fintech Company.

Next, from France, we had Mr Ludovic Bodin, Entrepreneur, Author, and president of La French Tech – he shared on the success of the gaming industry, and how to apply their principles to your own business.

Following that, from the UK, we had Mr Luca Verre, the co-founder and CEO of Prophesee. He shared with us on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, specifically in the optical industry, and how one may leverage Artificial Intelligence to achieve success in one’s own industry.

From England, we had Mr Russ Shaw, the Founder of Tech London Advocate and Global Tech Advocate. Mr Russ Shaw shared with us the secret tips and strategies on how smaller start-ups can accelerate growth. Also, from Germany, we had Mr Immanuel Jonathan, from German Innovators in China, who moderated the fireside chat for Mr Russ Shaw. Mr Russ Shaw gave practical tips on retaining foreign talent, understanding the operation on your main business market, and adapting to changes and new trends.

Also from England, we had Mr Marc Zornes, the founder of Winnow. Mr Zornes shared with us on the topic of artificial intelligence, and specifically on how we can leverage Artificial Intelligence to solve the problem of food wastage, a social problem that is close to our hearts. Mr Zornes and Winnow presented an innovative initiative to solve this problem in a balanced and sustainable way.

Our last anticipated speaker of the European Chapter was none other than Mr Niklas Ostberg, the founder and CEO of Delivery Hero, the biggest delivery company outside of China. He shared with us his insights on the delivery trends we can expect in 2021, and also on how each business will have to ride market trends to elevate the business to the next level.
