Data released by NIO on Tuesday showed it delivered 1,412 ES8s, 3,017 ES6s and 2,282 EC6s in May.

As of May 31, the company's cumulative deliveries stood at 109,514.

NIO's deliveries were briefly impacted in May due to supply chain fluctuations and adjustments in the delivery chain brought about by the chip, the company said, adding that its new orders continued to grow.

Under its latest production and delivery plan, the company will accelerate its delivery pace in June, with second-quarter delivery guidance remaining unchanged at 21,000 to 22,000 units, NIO said.
