On August 19, Miniso announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2021, ending June 2021.

According to Miniso's financial announcement for the second quarter of 2021:
The company's total revenue was $2.47 billion, up 59% year-over-year. Specifically, its domestic revenue was USD 1.95 billion, up 43% year-over-year, and overseas revenue was USD 520 million, up 179% year-over-year. Non-IFRS net income for the quarter was USD 150 million with a significant increase of 242% year-over-year.
As of June 30, 2021, the company had 4,749 stores worldwide, including 2,939 domestic stores and 1,810 overseas stores. Also, the company's retail layout spreads in 99 countries and regions worldwide. During this quarter, the number of domestic stores increased by 127 and overseas stores increased by 35. In total, for the fiscal year of 2021, the company added 406 domestic stores and 121 overseas stores.
The company's domestic e-commerce revenue reached nearly CNY 200 million, up 136% year-on-year, as the quarter included the '6.18 Shopping Festival', a national online shopping holiday. E-commerce and O2O business contributed 12% of Miniso's total revenue, with the online effort yielding significant results.
As of June 30, 2021, the number of active consumer members of Miniso for the past 12 months exceeded 33 million, up 49% year-on-year and 10% annual growth.
Miniso continued to expand IP cooperation resources, and IP co-branded products such as Toy Story, NBA, and Little Yellow Man. These popular products brought up the domestic IP product sales, increasing 79% in the past two quarters compared to the same period in 2020 and 59% compared to the same period in 2019. Some sales strategies, such as waitlist and soldout alerts, triggered a high sales volume in these co-branded IP products.
As of June 30, Miniso had entered into strategic cooperation with more than 80 IP copyrights worldwide, of which more than 30 are exclusive.
TOP TOY, as one of Miniso's core businesses, has been expanding relatively fast. During the fourth quarter of 2021, it is expected that the number of TOP TOY stores will increase by 24. As of June 30, the cumulative number of TOP TOY stores reached 33. Among them, there were 6 dream factory stores and 27 collection stores.
Mr. Fuguo Ye, the founder and CEO of Miniso, said, "In the fiscal year of 2021, we achieved a solid performance. This year, under the great uncertainty brought by the epidemic, we did not stop our overseas expansion, but brought the MINISO brand into the 98th overseas market and increased the number of overseas stores by 121. The net increase of domestic MINISO stores was 406, and we seized the development opportunity of the sinking market, with more than 60% of the new stores coming from the third-tier cities and more regions."
