The startup is eyeing the big, promising SaaS market for the public decoration industry
inCreate (Chinese:自图), a smart solution provider focusing the public space decoration and design, raised USD 540 million from its angel round today.
Linear Capital led the round, with participation from Source Code Capital and Unity Ventures.
The proceedings would mainly be used to increase R&D spending on SaaS, integrate resources and support its product iteration.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in the southeast port city Xiamen, inCreate leverages artificial intelligence to empower the design of public spaces. It aims at the industry pain points of “low efficiency and slow feedback” with eight core self-developed functionalities, which were well received by the industry during the internal testing period.
Zheng Can, the managing director of Linear Capital, said that the domestic public decoration market is volumed as well as fragmented. The size has reached CNY 2.27 trillion, with an annual growth rate of about 8%, sources said.
The domestic construction software market is also growing rapidly; however, it lacks mature players like Kujiale and Sunvega in the home decor market. The launch of inCreate bridges the current gap and is expected to lead the digitalization wave of the public decoration market, Source Code Capital denoted.
“We believe inCreate has the ability to improve the efficiency of the entire industry,” said Wang Xiao, the CEO of Unity Ventures.
